State police at Lehighton are investigating a reported assault incident that occurred on April 6.

Troopers said Todd Andreas, 51, of East Penn Township, reported he was hit by a truck in the area of 1475 W. Lizard Creek Road, in the township, about 2:47 p.m. after he questioned two men about having permits required by the township to do work.Troopers said the two were working for Best Price by Richard, of Allentown. After being struck by the truck Andreas' head was pushed into a mailbox.The probe is continuing.
