Join the Friends of Beltzville State Park for their "First Day Hike" on New Year's Day.

The event begins at 2 p.m. Jan 1.The 2.5-mile easy hike is open to all ages.Hike from the Beltzville EIC to the breast of the dam, culminating in a scenic view of Beltzville Lake.This hike provides a means for individuals and families to welcome the coming year in the outdoors, exercising and connecting with nature.Furthermore, exercise and outdoor activities rejuvenate the mind and body, promoting overall mental and physical health and wellness.Many believe that time spent in nature enhances creativity and lifts our moods.Warm beverages will be provided.
