Bible study

The Rev. Suzanne Brooks-Cope at St. Matthew's UCC will be starting a Bible study class on "Discovering the Bible" on Sept. 17. If interested, contact the church office so books can be ordered, 610-381-2442.PVEN needsPleasant Valley Ecumenical Network is in need of school supplies, school clothes (especially uniforms), new socks (adult size) and new packaged underwear for boys and girls, all sizes.They also need macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, cereal and all nonperishable food items.Items can be dropped off at St. Matthew's UCC during office hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Sundays from 8 to 11:30 a.m.Exercising seniorsThere is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
