A Carbon County woman pleaded guilty in the county court on Thursday to two counts of simple assault and one of criminal mischief, and was sentenced to a time-served prison term.

Erika Lee Moyer, 49, of Parryville, entered her pleas before Judge Steven R. Serfass.Moyer was arrested on July 5, 2015, by Franklin Township police for an incident on the 100 block of Hawk Road. Police said they responded to a domestic incident at that address. On scene police learned that Moyer was at the residence to pick up her twin sons for visitation and got into an argument witha woman who was identified as Moyer's ex-husband's girlfriend.The second assault occurred on April 9, in Parryville. Moyer assaulted her neighborin a dispute over a parking space.The mischief count stems from a May 10 incident when Moyer threw a rock at a vehicle operated bywoman in the area of Route 248 and the turnpike, damaging the windshield. Whenthe victim stopped her vehicle, Moyer then picked up a log and did more damages to the vehicle. Damages were estimated at over $1,800.Moyer admitted to mental health issues and also claimed she had a hard time handling the breakup of her marriage and custody matters with her twin sons. She also said she was attending counseling for drug and alcohol problem at the prison, where she had been an inmate for more than 90 days.On the first assault count Serfass sentenced her to serve one to one day less 24 months in prison with credit for 153 days and paroled her; on the second assault she was sentenced to serve two to one day less 24 months concurrent with the first count. On the mischief count she was placed on probation for two years consecutive to the assault charges and ordered to pay restitution of $1,803.06.She was ordered to have no contact with any of the victims in the three cases, get drug and alcohol and mental health evaluations, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, render 300 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole and probation.
