Rebecca Stroup of Palmerton has been named to the dean's list for the 2011 fall semester at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a 4.0 GPA. She is finishing her last year in the doctor of physical therapy program and will be graduating in May.

She is also completing her last rotation at Theraplay, a pediatric outpatient facility in Broomall.Stroup is an alumna of Alpha Sigma Tau National Sorority. She is a 2006 graduate of Palmerton Area High School and the daughter of Renee and Terry Montes of Palmerton.
