Dear Editor,

I was extremely dismayed and upset when I came home on Friday and found that a political sign had been stolen from my front yard. I won't say which candidate it was because it doesn't matter! Stealing a sign from a person's yard is against the law and it's wrong.No matter who you support, you have no right to stifle the political expression of someone else just because they disagree with you. This type of behavior has no place in our system of democracy. If you're worried about losing, stealing a yard sign isn't going to help, it's only going to cause hard feelings and more divisiveness. It only shows what kind of person you are, and by extension, what kind of person your candidate is. Dishonest! Shame on you, sign thieves!Deborah SmithPalmerton
