Twenty-one area residents among 92 arraigned in Schuylkill

Twenty-one area residents where among 92 who were arraigned on criminal charges Monday morning in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County courthouse and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:

Ajay G. Bajaria, 24, of 49 Frankford Ave., Tamaqua, was charged by Trooper Matthew Barrett last Feb. 10 with driving under the influence (DUI) failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving when stopped on Interstate 81 in Kline Township.Alyssa M. McCarroll, 21, of 209 Market St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, Tamaqua police, last Dec. 30 with DUI and involved in accident with parked car belonging to Joseph and Sandra Bonner on Lafayette St.Katlin Nicole Frohnheiser, 18, of 43 Yellowrun Road, Jim Thorpe, was charged by Patrolman Brian Thompson, Rush Township police, last Feb. 24 with retail theft of 16 items from Walmart Store valued at $102.88 because boyfriend smashed all her "stuff" and she had no money to replace them.Amy M. Merenda, 23, of 57 Shady Lane, Barnesville, was charged by Patrolman Brandon Alexander, Mahanoy City police, last Nov. 30 with possession of a controlled substance (CS), misbranding a CS, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving an unregistered vehicle.Louis J. Bova, 22, of 511 W. Center St., Mahanoy City, was charged by Cpl. Michael Dissinger, Mahanloy City police, last March 4 with possession with intent to deliver a CS, possession of a CS and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bova was also charged by Officer Dissinger of possession of a CS last March 9.James Joseph Doyle, 35, of 55 Saint Montz Drive, Zion Grove, was charged by Trooper Michael VanBuskirk last Feb. 10 with DUI, failing to drive on right side of road and failing to wear seat belt when stopped on Cove Mountain Road in East Union Township.Donald P. Joseph, 27, of 53 Hazle St., Delano, was charged by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, Mahanoy City police, last Feb. 19 with two counts of possession of a CS and a summary charge of operating obstructing traffic with a vehicle.Louis Dominic Damore, 47, of 1790 Chestnut St., New Ringgold, was charged by Trooper Anthony Garipoli last Feb. 26 with being involved in an accident with another vehicle on Green View Road, North Manheim Township, and failng to stop and render information and aid and faling to stop at a stop sign.Jacob Daniel Souchak, 29, of 83 Tresckow, DUI and two summary charges.Robert Eugene Sloan, 19, of 1326 E. Pine St., Mahanoy City, DUI, involved in accident causing injury to a passenger, a minor prohibited from DUI and failing to report accident to police While traveling on Park Crest Road he swerved his vehicle to avoid hitting a deer and ran into a tree and Jackie Sipple, a passenger, was injured.Michael Shane Matrishion, 33, of 132 Snyder Ave., McAdoo, was charged by Trooper Brian Walter last Jan. 26 with DUI, altering car plate, driving an unregistered vehicle and unauthorized transfer of registration certificate when stopped on I81 in Kline Township.Dara Katherine Schaeffer, 23, of 225 Pine St., Tamaqua, was charged by Cpl. Henry Woods, Tamaqua police, last Dec. 24 with three counts each of theft by deception, receiving stolen property and access device (credit card) fraud. Information filed alleges Schaeffer stole credit card from Sarah Huegel, of 322 E. Broad St., from her wallet while she was pumping gas at Fegley's Mini Market, Tamaqua, and used it to purchase $40.01 of gasoline at Turkey Hill Mini Mart, Tamaqua, and $201.48 in merchandise at Lehigh Valley Mall, Whitehall.Christopher Hill, 23, of 47 Mush Dahl Road, New Ringgold, was charged by Sgt. Richard Weaver, Tamaqua police, on April 9, 2009, with possession with intent to deliver a CS, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession in the 400 block on Arlington St.Brian K. Startzel, 41, of 35 W. Union St., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Brian Thompson, Rush Township police, last March 11 with possession of a CS and drug paraphernalia and criminal attempt to commit theft from a motor vehicle.Ralph E. DeAngelo Jr., 40, of 72 Frankford Ave., Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman Jonalthan McHugh, Rush Township police, on April 17, 2009, with DUI and driving while operating privileges were suspended.Thomas Williams III, 30, of 926 Dairy Road, Tamaqua, was charged by Patrolman James Lorah, West Penn Township police, last Dec. 30 with simple assault and harassment of Beth Williams.Diane E. Kline, 54, of 301 E. Main St., Tamaqua, was charged by Cpl. Duane Frederick, Rush Township police, last March 3 with retail theft from Walmart Store of five household and make-up items valued at $22.65.James McDonald Jr., 30, of 434 E. Patterson St., Lansford, was charged by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, Coaldale police, last Feb. 21 with DUI and having improper sun screen on his car windows.Gary Matthew Baneravage, 30, of 136 E. Eckert, 33, Schuylkil Haven, DUI and failing to have rear lights working.Todd A. Strouphauer, 23, Pine Grove, burglary of property at 42 Old Forge road, Pine Grove Township, criminal mischief to property and two counts each of simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering Amber Smith and Debra Smith by firing a shotgun in residents.John Edward Derr, 27, Wilkes-Barre, was charged by Patrolman Corey Herring, Rush Township police, last Jan. 3 with criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and simple assault. Information filed alleges a wallet was stolen in Walmart Store by an accomplice and they took off in Derr's vehicle which was stopped by McAdoo police.Jonas H. Kimmel, 63, Gratz, simple assault and harassment of Kay Kimmel, Valley View.Jolene Marie Heiser, 32, Gilberton, DUI and three summary charges when stopped on Main Street, Brandonville.Darnett Newland, 33, an inmate at the state correctional institute in Mahanoy Township, possession of drug contraband in his cell.Rebekah Sue Lipinski, 31, Pottsville, retail theft of 22 items, mostly cosmetic, valued at $175.77 from Walmart Store, Saint Clair.Grace Constance Credidio-Emery, 44, Minersville, paying for merchandise at Walmart Store, Saint Clair, with two counterfeit travelers checks.Erin Ivette Lee, 20, Schuylkill Haven, retail theft of 29 items, mostly cosmetics, valued at $174. 79 from Walmart Store, Saint Clair.Arthur Theodore Uroskie, 39, Saint Clair,16 counts of aggravated indecent assault on person under 16 years of age, three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, eight counts of indecent exposure and two counts of corruption of minors.David James Schaeffer, 39, Schuylkill Haven, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Information filed alleges Schaeffer was participating in a block shoot at the Second Mountain Rod and Gun Club, N. Greenwood Road, North Manheim Townshiip, and negligently shot Jarrod Lee Pennsyl in the head, face and body with a 12 gauge shotgun while firing at a target.Jose Fransico Cabrera Jr., 18, Saint Clair, criminal mischief to property of Joseph Chamoun, 447 E. Market St., Pottsville, and causing $4,550 in damage and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Chad Everett Lytle, Pottsville, possession of a CS and drug paraphernalia.Luis Angel Diaz, 29, Shenandoah, intimidation of a witness, defiant trespass on property of the Pottsville Housing Authority and harassment of Nicole Porter Diaz.
