Kidder Township approved changes to the police force at a special meeting Wednesday.

The board accepted the resignation of officer Dinu Dermargosian.

To fill the vacancy, part-time officer Ryan Poeldnurk was promoted to full-time status, as of Aug. 11, with a 90-day probationary period.

The police department is advertising for applicants for part-time police officers.

The regular Kidder Township supervisors meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15, at the municipal building.
