God bless President Trump

Regarding Mr. Siesputowski's letter of Jan. 14, 2017. Very well-written and quite to the point. He is surely right in everything he wrote. I can only add my own thoughts here:

Yes, where is all that money going? Why do they keep needing more? Why do they "need" to close ANY of our state prisons? Will they be releasing those prisoners, like the former tenant in our nation's capital has done and, I believe, San Francisco's politicians, etc.? Will those prisoners then be among us, continuing their crimes against us and our nation? Why are we, the people, just now finding out about this possible "covert operation" and what our politicians want to do?Now about the wall! Yes, let's build that wall! But, does anyone besides me remember that there are tunnels coming to American to and from Mexico? Rats and bad things move quite well through tunnels, as do drugs.Don't you think it a good idea to blast those tunnels out and begin building our wall from the ground up, on a firm foundation, without tunnels underneath? I do hope and pray that our President Trump had already thought about these things and has a very good plan for it.I just thought I'd put these thoughts out there, wondering if I'm the only one thinking them. I understand from something I saw on our "excellent news media," that those tunnels are well-built and equipped, even to the point of electricity and lighting! I guess the drug income must be pretty good! This was written Jan. 21, 2017, after the inauguration. I also want to add that I think President Trump's inaugural speech was very well-written and very well-spoken. It was exactly to the point and right, and yes, carnage is the right word for what's been happening to our inner cities and especially Chicago. I wonder why the prior president and his family don't relocate to Chicago. Didn't he claim that as his hometown?God bless President Trump and may he do well for we, the people, and our grand nation.Ruthann SchlechtLehighton
