April 18, 1962 Paul Keiser and Joe Foster both win two events as Lehighton cruises to an 84-11 Lehigh Valley League track win over Whitehall. Keiser captures the 100 and 440 while Foster takes the 220 and broad jump. The two Indians also contribute to the winning mile relay team. Other Lehighton athletes with first-place finishes include Bob Klotz (880), Ray Ziegenfuss (mile), Warren Semmel (discus) and Dick Steigerwalt (shot put).
