We are writing in support of the candidacy of William O'Gurek for Carbon County commissioner.We believe he has done an outstanding job in representing Carbon County.We first became acquainted with Bill when he volunteered to be the manager of the Carbon County Chapter of Special Olympics, Pennsylvania, a position he held at a crucial time in the reorganization of the chapter in 2006 through 2010.We learned he is a caring and kind man who exhibited leadership, dedication and support during the time he served the program as an exemplary chairman and role model, while demonstrating an unselfish commitment to the athletes.Through the past 10 years, we have watched Bill show the same commitment to the people of Carbon County.
