Two rock-throwing incidents at the same general location in Carbon County is being probed.

State police at Fern Ridge said the incidents occurred along SR940 near the East Side Inn in East Side Boro. Troopers said about 9:03 p.m. Holly Gregory, of White Haven, was driving a 2005 Ford Mustang in the above area when someone threw a large rock at the vehicle. The rock struck the hood. The rock was thrown from a nearby wooded area. Gregory was not injured.About 9:43 p.m. in the same area Peter Badowski, of White Haven, was driving a 2009 Lexus RX350 when someone threw a large rock at his vehicle striking the front bumper and grill area. A stick was also thrown in this incident, troopers said. Badowski was not injured.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
