Golden Agers

At the Sept. 12 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers a moment of silence was held for the victims of the 9-11 tragedy. Sue Dopira led the group singing Patriotic songs. Irene read an appropriate prayer for the occasion. Following the meeting members enjoyed playing bingo.Next meeting will be Monday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m.At the meeting, an indoor rummage sale will be held for members.Bingo is scheduled to be played.NesquehoningDemocratic clubThe Nesquehoning Democratic Club will hold a meeting on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Lions Club building.Plans for the upcoming "Meet the Candidates Night" will be discussed.All are invited.
