Schuylkill Township Police have cited three people in connection with the theft of more than $50,000 worth of plumbing/heating supplies.
The victim contacted police on Jan. 30 after realizing that his Brockton warehouse had been burglarized.Since there were no signs of forced entry, he suspected his tenants may have been involved as they have access to the warehouse to take care of the coal stoker.The missing items included copper pipes and fittings, valued at $12,853.39; three sewer machines worth $5,722.07; black pipe, tubing, fittings and heater cores valued at $7,611.92; and tools, saws, pipe threaders and generators worth $30,893.30.Sgt. Anthony Stanell spoke with one of the tenants, Jennifer Marchorro, 33, who denied knowing anything about the theft.The next day, Marchorro admitted taking the items with the help of Amanda Rogers, 28, and Zachary Lienhard, 26, both of Jim Thorpe.She said the trio took the items between Jan. 23 and Jan. 28, using Lienhard's Chevy S10 to transport the items, taking some to a pawnshop in Hazleton.Lienhard said he didn't realize the items were stolen, agreeing to meet with police, then brushing off appointments on three separate occasion. e then contacted the victim and told him some of the items were in a garage in Jim Thorpe. Those items were recovered.Also recovered were a number of items from the pawnshop.The trio will face felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property and two counts each of conspiracy to commit theft.
