Three people entered guilty pleas on Monday in Carbon County court to driving under the influence charges.
Judge Steven R. Serfass accepted the pleas from the following:
Brad Balliet
, 46, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on May 26, 2018, by Mahoning Township police along Beaver Run Drive after being involved in a crash. A test revealed a 0.30 BAC.
Sentencing was deferred so Balliet can apply for placement in the Intermediate Punishment Program, house arrest.
Kyle T. Rabenold
, 24, of Mary D, was arrested on June 23, 2018, along Route 443 by Lehighton police. A test revealed a 0.08 BAC.
He was sentenced to serve five days to six months in jail, a fine of $500, one-year license suspension and render 25 hours of community service. He must also pay court costs of about $1,000, a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole and follow any recommendation of his drug and alcohol evaluation.
He will begin the jail term at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18 and serve it consecutive weekends of two days, two days and one day.
Kyle Lee Tetreault
, 22, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on Nov. 16, 2017, by Lansford police at East Patterson and Springgarden streets. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.
Sentencing was deferred so Tetreault can obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.
