Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following staff changes:

Resignations• Michelle Hock from her position as English teacher at the senior high school, effective July 27.• Gina Orr from her position as mathematics teacher at the middle school, effective July 27.• Michael Strohl from her position as fifth-grade elementary teacher at Slatington Elementary School and football coach, effective July 26.• Ashlie Eckert from her position as Spanish teacher at the high school, effective Aug. 8.• Tracy Delans from her position as special education instructional aide at Slatington Elementary School, effective June 9.• Patricia Bortz from her position as lunch room monitor at Peters Elementary School, effective June 9.Transfers• Susan Bachman, from fourth-grade teacher at Slatington Elementary School to sixth-grade teacher at Slatington Elementary School, with no change in salary, effective Aug. 22; Jennifer Balliet, from temporary professional employee, permanent substitute teacher to Slatington Elementary School fifth-grade teacher, replacing Strohl, who resigned, at a salary of $46,975, effective Nov. 3; Janice Herzog, from learning support paraprofessional at Peters Elementary School to Emotional Support Paraprofessional at the middle school with no change in salary, effective Aug. 22; Kimberly Wagner, from emotional support paraprofessional at the middle school PCA for a student at the high school with no change in salary, effective Aug. 22; and Jennifer Haas, from PCA for a student who graduated to PCA for a student at Slatington Elementary School, with no change in salary, effective Aug. 22.Hires• Matthew Davis as middle school math teacher, replacing Orr, who resigned, at a salary of $56,800, effective Aug. 22.• Tracy Karpowich as a high school learning support teacher, replacing Amy Zeiser, who was transferred to Slatington Elementary School at a salary of $53,300, effective Aug. 22.• William Neal as Slatington Elementary School third-grade teacher, replacing Marilyn Steckel, who retired, at a salary of $55,300, effective Aug. 22.• Nicole Nightlinger as middle school emotional support teacher replacing Kayla Perkowski, who was transferred to Peters Elementary School, at a salary of $55,300, effective Aug. 22.• Janelle Scheckler as a high school English teacher, replacing Michelle Hock, who resigned, at a salary of $52,100, effective Aug. 22.• Sara Shimer as Slatington Elementary School fourth-grade teacher, replacing Susan Bachman, who was transferred to Slatington Elementary School sixth-grade teacher, at a salary of $52,300, effective Aug. 22.• Anthony Tulio as Slatington Elementary School fifth-grade teacher, replacing Dawn Mayer, who retired, at a salary of $55,900, effective Aug. 22.• Tayler Urban as a high school English teacher, replacing a teacher on family medical leave, at the substitute teacher rate days 1-30 at $120 a day, Day 31 and beyond, $46,875, effective Aug. 22, with a termination date upon the return of a full-time teacher.• Professional employee status to teachers Ashlie Eckert and Kayla Perkowski.• Amber Kuntz has completed the requirements that would entitle her to a salary increase for the 2016-17 school year.• Teachers Kimberly Filipovits, Michael Mengel, Amanda Beer, Jon Prive and Susan Beil as helping teachers in the Northern Lehigh School District Induction Program for the 2016-17 school year at a stipend of $750.
