Northampton Community College welcomes PPL’s chief technology security officer, Greg Belanger, to the Northampton Community College Foundation Board.
“We are thrilled to have Greg on our Board, and we believe he will do an exemplary job of upholding our mission to support NCC students,” said Denise Smith, executive director of Institutional Advancement and NCC Foundation.
Belanger has over 25 years of technology leadership and innovation experience, including implementation of security programs in education, finance, real estate, and now critical infrastructure. He has worked with local universities and connected companies to build cybersecurity internship programs, and built cybersecurity talent pipelines with local universities to address practitioner and industry needs.
Belanger successfully led programs across application security, cloud security, identity and access management, and spearheaded an advanced AI-driven cybersecurity initiative. He directed a transformative automation strategy that streamlined onboarding processes for users and applications, facilitated automated deployments and system configurations across multiple cloud environments, and significantly modernized cybersecurity services using artificial intelligence.
Belanger holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He and his wife, Helen, moved to Allentown in April of 2025.
