A hit-and-run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. Friday along Route 209 in front of the New Life In Christ Ministry Church in Cumbola, Blythe Township.Troopers said a woman was parking a Nissan Murano in front of the church when it was sideswiped by another vehicle which was head southbound.After impact, the driver of the other vehicle spoke briefly to the driver of the Nissan, however, she then got back into her vehicle and continued southbound.The hit-and-run driver was described as a woman, about 70, with white hair. The hit-and-run vehicle is a tan Chevrolet Cavalier and will have damage to the entire passenger side.Troopers said the possible state registration plate number is DZL-2007. The Nissan sustained damage to the entire driver's side.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
