After a slow start to the 2026 season, the Misericordia University Field Hockey team has won six out of their last seven games, and the recent success is in large part due to a trio of Palmerton high school graduates.
Juniors Skylar Kohler and Celeste Hoffman, along with freshman Alisyn Green are all key contributors for the Lady Cougars, who currently stand at 6-4.
Hoffman, a three-year starter, leads the team in assists, and also scored a key goal in a 3-2 win at Kean University, and another this week in a victory over King’s College during the current hot streak.
Kohler is an anchor on the defense that has four shutouts in the last seven games, and has only allowed an average of 1 goal per game on the season.
Green, in just her first year, cracked the starting lineup in Week Four and scored her first goal in a victory over Gwynedd Mercy.
Misericordia competes in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), and is coming off a 16-4 season in which they made it to the MAC Championship game.
