State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:
• No one was injured when a vehicle struck a deer at 10:12 p.m. Sept. 24 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township.
Police said Devin P. Murphy, 30, of Tamaqua, was operating a 2015 Subaru when the deer ran in front of the vehicle and was struck near the intersection with Kernsville Road.
Molly R. Murphy, 23, also of Tamaqua, was a passenger in the vehicle, which police said was towed from the scene.
• Shawn C. Heckman, 25, of Schnecksville, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 4:34 p.m. Sept. 26 at the intersection of King’s Highway and Behler Road, Lynn Township.
Police said both drivers and seven passengers in the vehicles were uninjured in the crash.
They said Heckman was driving a 2021 Subaru Forester south on Behler Road when he failed to yield the right of way to traffic on King’s Highway, entering the intersection directly in front of a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven west on King’s Highway by Scott T. Boyd, 47, of Slatington.
There was one passenger with Heckman and six passengers in the Pacifica, including several children who were properly restrained.
Police said both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
