State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Police said Angelo Berrios, 54, of Kunkletown, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 8:11 p.m. Sept. 17 on Burger Hollow Road, Polk Township.

He sustained suspected minor injuries in the crash and was transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

Police said Berrios was driving a 2018 Dodge Challenger north when it left its lane of travel, went onto a grassy area off the right shoulder of the road and slid into a utility pole, striking it head-on.

The car was towed from the scene.

• Giselle A. McBrien, 64, of Brodheadsville, had minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 7:13 p.m. Sept. 15 on Route 115 in Ross Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg.

They said McBrien was driving a 2006 Toyota Prius north when she had a medical emergency and the car traveled off the road and hit a ditch.

The car was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:38 a.m. Sept. 15 on Hamilton Road South, Hamilton Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Eloi Bustamante Sprouse, 63, of Saylorsburg, was operating a 2016 Nissan Rogue that entered the travel lane of the roadway without proper clearance and was struck by a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Sean T. Alling, 51, of Hellertown. Police said he was able to lay down the motorcycle after the collision.

The Rogue was towed from the scene.

Sprouse was issued a written warning for careless driving, according to police.
