Northern Lehigh’s Kellen Bauer had a huge game to lift Northern Lehigh past Jim Thorpe in soccer action on Tuesday.

Bauer scored five times, and also became the program’s all-time leading goal scorer.

The Bulldog girls also earned a win over the Olympians.

Elsewhere, Marian picked up two victories including the first of the season for the girls soccer team.

Kellen Bauer set three different program records in a memorable Northern Lehigh 9-1 Colonial League win over Jim Thorpe.

Bauer’s five-goal performance set the Bulldogs’ school mark for goals in a half and in a game, while he now holds the mark of 37 goals in a career.

His younger brother, Michael Bauer, chipped in with a pair of goals. Michael, a sophomore, now sits fourth all-time with 21 career goals.

NL’s Landon King and Ariel Araque both contributed a goal.

Palmerton ended a four-game losing streak, as the Bombers came out on top with a 2-0 Colonial League win over visiting Saucon Valley.

After a scoreless first half, Hunter Sell got the Bombers on the board with his goal and Justin Sturdik added the insurance tally to seal the victory.

Bomber keeper Matt Breiner ended up with eight saves to earn the shutout.

Taylor Wasilewski finished with 17 saves to gain the shutout.
