State police at the Hazleton barracks have released the results of a DUI checkpoint officers conducted Sept. 11-14 in Lower Luzerne and Carbon counties.

Police said one driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, while two motorists were interviewed and released after passing standardized field sobriety testing.

Police issued 10 traffic citations and 18 written notices for violations of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.

A fugitive was also apprehended and arrested on a warrant.
