State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Jermanydragonfire Hineline, 20, of Pittston, was cited for harassment by physical contact following an incident at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 10 on East Grant Street, Washington Township.

Police said the victim is a 25-year-old woman from Slatedale who told police that Hineline punched her in the face after an argument and then ran off.

She told police she offered Hineline a place to stay since he is currently “unhoused.” She said they began arguing when she awakened Hineline and told him he had to leave the premises, which resulted in him punching her in the face.

Police said the woman’s face was red. She told police Hineline is only an acquaintance she met a few days earlier.

Police said Hineline was located after knocking on several doors asking people if he could make a phone call. They said neighbors observed Hineline facedown in the middle of a roadway. He responded incoherently, stating he did not punch anyone. It was later learned Hineline had been in and out of rehabilitation for methamphetamine use and had also been diagnosed with schizophrenia and ADHD and is bipolar.

Police said he agreed to be evaluated by Bethlehem City EMS personnel and was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.

• Jason Hersch, 51, of Lehighton, was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after police were called to a road rage incident at 2:31 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 5000 block of Route 873, North Whitehall Township.

Police said they met with the caller, later identified as Hersch, who said he was involved in the incident with a 79-year-old Walnutport man, who he said attempted to pass him on a two-lane road and run him off the road. Hersch said he exited his vehicle at the next intersection to confront the man when the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at Hersch.

Police reported that Hersch said the man attempted to run him over before driving off, prompting Hersch to strike the window of the man’s vehicle.

Police said they met with the man at his residence and he gave an opposite account of the incident. He told police Hersch was driving a vehicle that swerved to the left toward his vehicle, causing the man to drive partially off the road.

The man told police Hersch exited his vehicle and began screaming at him. He showed Hersch his legally owned, holstered pistol. He said when he attempted to leave, Hersch stood in front of his car and struck his window as he drove away. He said Hersch followed him for several miles until he stopped. The man said that his dashcam recorded the entire incident. Police said they reviewed the dashcam and said it corroborated the man’s account.

Police said they confirmed his authorization to carry the weapon.

• Nachele Tyson, 23, of Danielsville, was cited for defiant trespass after police were called to Coffeetown Road, Kalopechka Park, North Whitehall Township, at 10:15 p.m. Sept. 5.

Police said she entered the premises knowing that she was not privileged to do so and had been notified as such previously.
