Flizack connects with Don Evans for a 64-yard scoring strike during an 18-point second quarter that gives the Olympians a comfortable lead. Evans finishes with four catches for 141 yards, including a 58-yard hookup that sets up Justin Young’s 1-yard TD plunge. Earl Kunkel’s 22-yard run earlier in the game opened the scoring. After the Rams rally with a pair of TDs, Thorpe hangs on and actually scores on the last play of the game when William Kunkel recovers a loose ball in the end zone.
