Carbon County Area Agency on Aging PA MEDI program is getting ready to hold its annual Medicare open enrollment sessions. Open enrollment begins Oct. 15.

Sessions are held at the following locations:

• Lehighton Senior Center: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 19, 21, 26 and 28; Nov. 2, 4, 9, 16, 18, 23 and 30; and Dec. 2 and 7. (243 S. Eighth St.)

• Weatherly Senior Center: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 20; Nov. 10 and Dec 1. (335 Third St.)

• Heritage Hill: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 17.

• Panther Valley Public Library: 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 16, 21, 23, 28 and 30; Nov. 4, 6, 13, 18, 20 and 27; and Dec. 2 and 4. (117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.)

• Palmerton Library: 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 15, 22 and 29; Nov. 5, 12, 13 and 19; and Dec. 3. (402 Delaware Ave.)

• Jim Thorpe/Penn Kidder Senior Center: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 16, 23 and 30; Nov. 6, 13 and 20; and Dec. 4. (995 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe.)

Medicare annual enrollment will be open through Dec. 7.

The Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight program is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with understanding and making changes to Medicare health plans during the annual enrollment period.
