Lebanon Valley College has named more than 70 students Valley Ambassadors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Valley Ambassadors welcome prospective students and their families, providing a tour of LVC’s campus and sharing their knowledge of The Valley.

Local students include:

Albrightsville: Kate Newsted, a graduate of Jim Thorpe Senior High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in music education at LVC.

Jim Thorpe: Kate Malay, a graduate of MMI Preparatory School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in speech-language pathology assistant at LVC.

New Ringgold: Kyrsten Derr, a graduate of Tamaqua Area Senior High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at LVC
