September 5, 1975 — Palmerton opens its cross country season in style with an 18-40 victory over Whitehall as two Blue Bomber runners cross the finish line in a deadlock. Clark Wentz and Johnny Pitts pace the Blue and White as the two returning runners both come home in 12 minutes flat. The winners also receive a fourth-place finish from Brad Browne, while Dale Costenbader follows in fifth. Palmerton ends with six of its runners in the top 10.
