Mauch Chunk Trust lists earnings

The Board of Directors of Mauch Chunk Trust Financial Corporation have released earnings results for the corporation for the period ended June 30, 2026.

Net income for the six months ending June 30, 2026, was $703,000, $219,000 higher than the first half of 2025. On a per share basis, net income year-to-date was 21 cents this year compared to 14 cents last year. For the three months ending June 30, 2026, net income was $248,000, $7,000 higher than last year. On a per share basis, second quarter net income was 7 cents, the same as 2025.

Higher net income in 2026, year-to-date and for the three months ending June 30, 2026, is attributable to an increase in net interest income and other income, as well as decreases in the allowance for credit losses, partially offset by increases in other expenses and income tax expense.
