Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Zion Church in Lewistown Valley. The adult Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m.

Calvary Lewistown

Calvary Evangelical Church will have its 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle. Pastor Deb Rogers will be participating, but the guest speaker, the Rev. Larry Leckrone, will be bringing the message. He and his wife, Tamla, will present special music.

All are invited to gather and enjoy the open air of the tabernacle. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.

Beginning Friday, the annual Lewistown Valley Camp meeting will begin and there will be services daily at 7 p.m. through the week, with the Leckrones sharing their vision of ministry. There will be cake served Sunday evening.

The Sept. 3 meeting will feature the Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge ministry, with their women’s choir beginning at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Following the Sept. 6 service, there will be a hot dog roast with refreshments.

St. Peter’s West Penn

The Sunday worship service at St. Peter’s Church in West Penn will be held at 9 a.m. with Adult Sunday school at 10:15 a.m.

On Sept. 3, there will be a “Hope in the Middle” podcast on Facebook at 11 a.m. The Senior Choir will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 3.
