Three people were treated for minor injuries at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at 2:33 p.m. Aug. 1 on Route 895 in East Brunswick Township, state police at the Frackville barracks said.

They were identified as Skyler N. Gannis, 35, of New Ringgold, and Ramon A. Girona, 72, of Bethlehem, the drivers of the vehicles, and Miriam E. Girona, 57, of Bethlehem, a passenger with Ramon Girona.

Police said the crash occurred as Gannis was driving a 2017 Dodge Durango westbound when he attempted to pass a 2022 Honda driven by Ramon Girona, who was also westbound and preparing to turn left onto Goose Pond Road, resulting in the Honda causing a sideswiping collision.

Gannis was cited after the crash, according to police.
