Christ UCC, 309 Main St. (P.O. Box P), Walnutport, holds a service each Sunday with Pastor Brian Haas at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

Slatington Baptist Church

The Slatington Baptist Church is holding its 30th annual Free Clothing Days as follows:

• Aug. 11 and 12: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Aug. 13: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., all clothing and household items will be distributed.

Clothing in good condition for men, ladies, children and infants in many sizes and some household items will be available for you to choose from for free.

Please bring bags to put your clothing in and, if possible, leave small children at home during opening hours, when it is the busiest.

St. John’s UCC

St. John’s UCC, 15 S. Second St., Slatington, will hold its annual Peach Festival from 3-7 p.m. on Aug. 22.

There will also be a quilt and gift card raffle, auction, music and food.
