State police at Frackville reported investigating two crashes on Schuylkill County roadways over the weekend.
• A one-vehicle crash was reported a 9:10 p.m. on Friday along Route 61 in New Castle Township.Troopers said William D. Goho, 47, of Leesport, Berks County, was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry southbound in the left lane and negotiating a right curve in the road when he lost control. The car went onto the berm and struck guard rail in the median. About 100 feet of guard rail was damaged.Goho and his passengers, April M. Goho, 44, and three girls, ages 11, 12 and 14, were all not injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and had to be towed. Troopers cited Goho for the crash.• The second crash occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday along Indian Run Road in East Brunswick Township. Troopers said Shannon M. Katerman, 34 of New Ringgold, was attempting to make a left turn onto Indian Run Road from a driveway and failed to yield the right-of-way and pulled into the path of a 2004 Ford Escape driven by Stanley C. Choynacky, 61, of Philadelphia. Katerman's 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the Ford with its front end.After impact the Ford was pushed into the westbound lane. The Chevrolet came to rest against the front quarter panel of the Ford.Choynacky and his passenger, Sandy Choynacky, 67, same address, sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. New Ringgold Fire Company volunteers assisted at the scene.Troopers cited Katerman.
