State police from the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police said they arrested a 23-year-old Hartford, Connecticut, woman early July 19 after observing her commit several traffic violations on Lloyd Street in Hanover Township.

After administering standardized field sobriety tests to the woman, it was determined that she was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

She was taken into custody, transported to Lehigh Valley Central Booking Center and later released. Her 2012 BMW 535 Series was towed from the scene, police said.

• A 19-year-old Bethlehem man was cited after a fight at a Sam’s Club in Hanover Township on July 26. Police Bethlehem responded to the Airport Center Drive store and investigated the incident, which they involved Jaiden Perez and an 18-year-old Emmaus man. A nontraffic citation was filed at district court.

• A 47-year-old Marienville man was arrested July 16 after a domestic incident on South Walnut Street in Bath Borough.

Police said the man denied having any physical contact with the 46-year-old Bethlehem woman who reported being choked. A medical evaluation by Nazareth EMS revealed bruising on her neck consistent with choking, police said. The man was taken into custody while charges were prepared.

• Police stopped a 34-year-old Tamaqua man on Route 22 East in South Whitehall Township early July 26 for vehicle code violations. During the stop, it was determined the driver was in possession of marijuana, according to police.

• A 23-year-old Schnecksville man lost $300 in an online extortion scheme reported June 22 in North Whitehall Township.

Police said someone deceived the victim into sending money via CashApp. The stolen amount was listed as $300, though the report listed property value at $500.

• A 67-year-old Danielsville woman was cited July 23 after her neighbor’s trash can on Spring Hill Road in Allen Township was run over by a vehicle.

Karen Talotta was identified after the neighbor, a 65-year-old man, produced video of the incident. Upon being interviewed, Talotta admitted to driving over the can, which had $35 in damage, police said. A nontraffic citation was issued to Talotta.

• A 23-year-old Tamaqua woman was cited after allegedly throwing eggs at a vehicle on Wolf Street in Bath Borough on July 25. Police said Samyia Vega caused damage to a 2013 Toyota Avalon belonging to a 27-year-old Allentown man. A nontraffic citation was filed in district court.

• Someone broke into the Boy Scout Troop 57 lodge on Unionville Street in North Whitehall Township on July 21 and stole a Generac 2000 generator and a 50-foot extension cord valued at $850, police said.

There were no signs of forced entry, police said, adding that the intruder also went through boxes in a loft in the lodge.

• Police are investigating a possible burglary that occurred July 22 at a property on Beth Bath Pike in East Allen Township. Someone may have taken items from a storage unit at the location.

A 60-year-old Nazareth man reported $50 in property loss.

• A 49-year-old Slatington woman was arrested in connection with an arson that occurred July 20 in the 5700 block of Pfeiffer Circle in Heidelberg Township.

Police said they determined the woman set fire to wood belonging to a 23-year-old Germansville woman and a 25-year-old New Tripoli man. The burned wood was valued at $25. Charges against the woman, whom police did not identify, were filed through district court.

• Someone broke into at least 11 vehicles overnight on Iroquois Street in North Whitehall Township, police discovered July 18. Seven victims, all from Schnecksville, reported items taken from vehicles including a 2024 Ford, two Subarus, two Hondas, a Dodge and other vehicles. Trooper Clayton Green is investigating.

• Police responded to a residence on Old Post Road in North Whitehall Township on July 23 and found evidence of a terroristic threat against a 69-year-old Coplay man.

An investigation is continuing, police said.

• Police responded to a residence on Woodside Road in Washington Township on July 24 and determined that a harassment incident had occurred involving a 28-year-old Slatington man.

An investigation is continuing, police said.

• Someone stole the license plate from a vehicle belonging to a 72-year-old Coplay woman on Levans Road in North Whitehall Township on July 20.

The woman, police said, had a 2015 Chevrolet Trax.

• A 26-year-old Alburtis man was arrested on DUI charges after police conducted a traffic stop on Route 22 West in Whitehall early July 9.

Police said they determined the man was operating his 2010 Ford F-150 under the influence of alcohol and filed charges.

• A kayak valued at $500 was stolen July 7 from outside the PennDOT Driver’s License Center at 1710 Hoover Ave. in Hanover Township, police said.

The kayak belonged to a 71-year-old Schnecksville man and was placed outside the building prior to being taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Grube at 610-861-2026.

• Someone cut the lock on a construction trailer belonging to Lithko Contracting at 1110 St. Luke’s Way in Hanover Township on July 7 and stole tools and equipment valued at more than $5,900, police said.

Items taken were batteries, chargers, a rotary hammer drill and a laser, police said.

• A camera, photo negatives and memorabilia valued at approximately $2,000 were stolen from The Morning Call newspaper in the 1800 block of Weaversville Road in Hanover Township on July 3.

• Police responded to a report of a burglary on Cedar Hill Drive in Hanover Township early June 17 and determined that someone had entered an unlocked residence and smashed a television valued at $400 belonging to a 41-year-old Allentown woman.

The woman identified the actor but declined to provide his information. The investigation was terminated.
