State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Vincent A. Moore, 60, of Baltimore, Maryland, was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic after a two-vehicle crash at 3:54 p.m. on July 3 on Interstate 81 in Butler Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2023 Kia Soul northbound when it veered into the right lane without having proper clearance and the car struck the rear trailer of a 2024 Freightliner operated by Howard J. Fees III, 66, of Kunkletown.

Police said the Kia sustained disabling damages.

• Pamela S. Danley, 38, an 11-year-old girl, and an infant, all of Tamaqua, were transported by personnel from the Valley Regional Fire and Rescue squad to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a one-vehicle crash at 1:28 p.m. on July 18 on Interstate 80 in Nescopeck Township.

Police said Danley sustained suspected minor injuries while it appeared her two passengers were not hurt.

Police said she was driving a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek westbound and was traveling too fast for wet roadway conditions when the car “fishtailed,” leaving the roadway, traveling up an embankment and hitting a tree head on before overturning onto its roof.

Police said Danley was able to self-extricate herself from the vehicle and remove the passengers from it.

The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Police said Danley was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
