The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following personnel changes. If not otherwise stated, all start dates are effective on Aug. 25.

• Administrative/professional staff — Daria Kleintop, special education supervisor, districtwide, $88,000, replacing Raberta Hans.

• Change of current assignment — Dakota Altemose, PVHS custodian, change in shift, effective July 24, replacing Sondra Spell, who retired.

• Hiring of professional staff — Ashley Rundle, special education teacher, PVES, $66,767, replacing Daniel Costenbader; Lexix Garcia-Calderon, LTS math specialist, PVIS, $65,867, name of employee replacing not given; and Patrick Rimple, technology education/STEM teacher, PVMS, $92,067, replacing James Igoe (changed assignment).

• Hiring of support staff — Lydia Hower, paraprofessional, PVES, $28,414; Kaitlyn Franklin, building secretary, PVMS, $35,479, replacing Dorothy Lauchnor;

• Resignations — Bron Leupold, Special Education Department chair K-5; Miles Portorreal, summer custodian, PVMS, effective July 7.

• Supplemental contracts, non-athletic — Alexandria Gibb, districtwide Gifted K-12 Department chair (2026-27 school year), $2,810.
