A pink snapdragon soaks up the sun on Thursday morning outside the Carbon County administration building in Jim Thorpe; while the county courthouse sits in the background. Snapdragons have a distinctive look that mimics a “dragon mouth.” It blooms from the from late spring through fall and is an excellent plant that attracts pollinators. This weekend looks to be comfortable with sun and temperatures in the 80s. The next chance for rain comes Monday evening as thunderstorms move through the region. AMY MILLER/TIMES NEWS
