The winners of Lansford’s 150th Anniversary House Decorating Contest have been announced.

Judging for patriotic themed homes was Friday evening, Rose Mary Cannon, organizer, said.

The winners are Charles and Nancy Whitehead, 115 E. Ridge St.; Carl and Karen Vasiliou, 845 E. Ridge St.; and Tony and Ann Marie Ruch, 741 E. Patterson St.

Cannon apologized for the delay in judging and organizers realized that many attractive displays were dismantled after the July Fourth holiday.

“We thank all who participated and joined in the celebration of our town’s 150th Anniversary and our country’s 250th,” Cannon said on social media.

She also thanked the volunteers who had the difficult task of judging.
