Nativity BVM students excel in AP exams

Nativity BVM High School recognizes the exceptional academic achievements of its Class of 2026, whose outstanding performance on the 2026 Advanced Placement Exams reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and college readiness.

Advanced Placement courses provide students with the opportunity to complete rigorous college-level coursework while in high school. At many colleges and universities, qualifying AP scores can translate into college credit, advanced placement, or both, allowing students to reduce college costs and begin their postsecondary education with a competitive advantage.

The 47 members of Nativity’s senior class earned an impressive passing rate, with 85% of all AP exams receiving a qualifying score of 3 or higher. Through their dedication and hard work, Nativity’s seniors earned an estimated 168 AP college credits, giving them a significant head start on their college education while still in high school. In addition, the senior class earned college credit through Dual Enrollment opportunities with DeSales University, Alvernia University, and Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Several members of the Class of 2026 earned prestigious recognition from the College Board for outstanding achievement across multiple AP examinations: Five AP Scholars with Distinction, two AP Scholars with Honor and five AP Scholars.
