State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Danielle L. Smith, 37, of Catasauqua, and three juveniles, a girl from Catasauqua and a boy and a girl, both from Breinigsville, were involved in a one-vehicle crash at 10:17 p.m. July 14 at the intersection of Route 248 and Bank Street in Bowmanstown.

Police said they were transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

They said the crash occurred when Smith was driving a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was exiting Route 248 to go onto Bank Street when she became distracted. They said the Jeep traveled straight onto Bank Street and hit a guide rail on the south shoulder before traveling down a steep hill through a wooded area and then coming to an uncontrolled stop. The Jeep was towed from the scene.

Smith was cited for careless driving, according to police.

• Kayja A. German, 25, and a 5-year-old boy, both from Palmerton, and Rachel E. Lindsey, 30, of Jim Thorpe, were injured after a two-vehicle crash at 8:34 p.m. July 1 at the intersection of Route 248 and Centre Street in Parryville. Police said German and the boy were transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township, while Lindsey refused a medical services transport.

They said the crash occurred when Nicholas G. Amato, 23, of Walnutport, who was uninjured, was driving a 2006 Saab that proceeded into the intersection without proper clearance and struck a 2014 Toyota Camry driven by German. Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Amato was cited after the crash, according to police.
