State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 22-year-man from Norwalk, Connecticut, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police made a traffic stop at 2:40 a.m. July 19.

He was stopped in a 2018 Toyota Camry for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township.

• A 36-year-old Lansford woman was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic dispute at 8:40 p.m. July 17 on East Bertsch Street, Lansford.

Police said the victim is a 13-year-old girl. The incident happened within the common residence of the woman and girl.

• A 30-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both from Lehighton, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police were called to Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, at 11:13 a.m. May 9.

Police said they left a child unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Carbon Plaza Shopping Center and went in the center to shop.

• Police are investigating the theft of construction materials that were being used to perform work at a residence in Ross Township.

They were called to Hawk Road where the complainant told police the materials were stolen between May 29 and 12:40 p.m. July 14 by a hired contractor.

• A 16-year-old Palmerton boy was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to an incident at 9:27 p.m. July 14 in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said they were called to the area of Red Hill and Gap roads for a report of a juvenile yelling in the woods.

They said it was determined the boy had taken a controlled substance and got lost on the mountainside.

Police said members of the local fire department were able to locate the boy and bring him down the mountain.
