The Weatherly American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 welcomes everyone to celebrate America’s 250th with them Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the post home.

The auxiliary is hosting the Celebrate 250 With Us event, which features food, drinks, live music, contests and activities for everyone, with the American Legion Post Home 360.

A stuffed animal patriotic dress-up contest is one of the highlights along with face and rock painting, live music by Jim Geba of Beaver Meadows, photo opportunities with Uncle Sam, and the train from the Weatherly Community Museum.

People can also take a chance to Dunk the Commander, Dunk the Vice-Commander, Dunk the School’s Maintenance Man, Dunk the Teacher, Dunk the Coach or Dunk the Cop at the Dunk Tank.
