The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Monroe County, has been awarded a $1,000 grant through a partnership between “The Kirk Cameron Show” and America’s Christian Credit Union, recognizing the organization’s commitment to impacting students, coaches and athletes through faith-based leadership and discipleship.

The grant will support FCA’s ongoing efforts to inspire and equip coaches and athletes to grow in their faith and spread hope in their communities. FCA Monroe County serves local schools and sports programs by providing mentorship, leadership development, character-building initiatives and opportunities for spiritual growth.

“God is so good in how He continues to provide the means to help grow FCA ministry in Monroe County,” said Trent Turner, area director for FCA Monroe County. “The power of the Gospel is doing amazing things to help coaches and athletes discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.”

The grant is part of a broader effort by “The Kirk Cameron Show” and ACCU to support ministries and nonprofit organizations making a meaningful difference in their communities.
