Joseph A. Nichols was installed as commander of American Legion Post 123, Lansford, during an installation service at the Post Home. Bill Laise of Post 346, East Stroudsburg, the 30th District commander, was the installing officer.

Other officers who were installed include Christopher Kerestes, first vice commander, Tim Midas, second vice commander, Richard Pogwist, service officer and adjutant, George Kuntz, chaplain, James Bittle and Steve Dobosh, sergeants-at-arms, and Edwin Stickler, finance officer.

Kerestes is also the outgoing commander.
