State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks identified the man who was found dead on a Pine Grove Township Road and said that he was struck while walking.

Police said Brian Staller, 42, of Pine Grove, was found dead in the area of Geary Wolfe Road after they were dispatched there at 10:29 p.m. July 5.

They said their investigation determined that he was struck while walking along Suedberg Road, near Geary Wolfe Road, during the evening hours of July 4.

Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have observed Staller walking on the road to contact them at 570-754-4600.
