Three area residents are among several employees who received promotions by the Hazleton National Bank as announced by Robert K. Gicking, president and chief executive officer.

The promotions included: Marie A. Nihen, assistant cashier and branch manager, Lansford; Patricia A. Anstead, assistant branch manager, Nesquehoning office; and Geraldine W. Gelatko, customer sales officer, Nesquehoning office.

The banking board also named Sally A. Thomas to its board; Merle S. Lescowitch as assistant vice president, account services; Loretta J. Stamm, assistant cashier, bank operations; Lori A. Roth, assistant cashier and branch manager, North End Office; and Jane Ann Imbert, assistant cashier and branch manager, Valmont Office.
