State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• A 38-year-old man from Bath is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a one-vehicle crash at 4:38 p.m. June 30.

Police said the crash occurred at the intersection of the Merwinsburg and Jonas roads, Chestnuthill Township, when the man was driving a 2014 Chevrolet.

They did not provide any details of the crash.

• Joseph Bertolini Jr., 74, of Albrightsville, was cited following a one-vehicle crash at 8:24 p.m. June 25 on Larch Lane, Penn Forest Township, police said. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2015 Cadillac SRX west when it exited its travel lane and entered a property, where it struck several rocks and boulders.

The vehicle was towed, police said.

• Jaden T. Coover, 21, of Henrysville, was injured in a motorcycle crash at 3:57 p.m. June 9 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he was transferred by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus. Police said the severity of his injuries is unknown.

They said he was operating a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja when he attempted to overtake a 2023 Tesla operated by Kent D. Heckman, 71, of Saylorsburg, who had come to a stop on Route 209, attempting to turn left onto Greenview Drive.

Police said the motorcycle hit the Tesla and proceeded to cross the lane, striking a parked 2004 Ford F-350.

• Giorgi Chirgadze, 35, of Brooklyn, New York, had suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6 p.m. July 5 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

Police said he was transported by Lehighton Ambulance to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township, for a medical evaluation after the crash.

They said he was driving a 2023 Freightliner west when it left its lane of travel, went off the road and hit a tree. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Chirgadze was cited after the crash, according to police.
