State police at the Fogelsville barracks said that a 55-year-old Germansville woman is the victim of a theft by deception/impersonation incident police were called to at 9:48 a.m. July 1 on Herman Street, Heidelberg Township.

She told police she was scammed by phone into sending about $550 in gift cards and $200 via Zelle.
