Nolehi rolls past Palmerton

Northern Lehigh put together one of its most complete offensive performances of the summer Thursday night, scoring in five innings during a Senior Connie Mack victory over Palmerton.

Northern Lehigh-Palmerton

Northern Lehigh scored multiple runs in four different innings on its way to a 9-1 victory over Palmerton.

Avery Kabrick and Beckett Fox were the game’s lone multiple hitters, as Northern Lehigh’s No. 3 and No. 6 hitters both finished with two singles. Kabrick also walked and drove in a run, while Fox added an RBI.

Drew Mohrey provided the biggest hit of the game with a two-run homer in the sixth inning.

Chase Wilson led Palmerton with a single and an RBI.

Hunter Vasquez, Jesse Bechtold and Braydin Locke also contributed singles for the hosts.

Southern Lehigh needed just one big inning to remain unbeaten, as the hosts scored a 5-1 victory over visiting Northern Valley.

After holding Southern Lehigh scoreless through the first three innings, the Chargers struck first in the fourth. Brandon Gonzalez and Tanner Fronina opened the inning with back-to-back singles before Ryan Ebeling delivered an RBI single to score Fronina with Northern Valley’s lone run.

The Spartans answered in the bottom of the inning when Sammy Moscato highlighted a five-run outburst with a two-run double. Harrison Schaible added an RBI double, while Parker Grady chipped in an RBI single.

Moscato was the game’s lone multiple hitter, finishing with two hits, a run scored and two RBIs.
