The Pennsylvania Department on Transportation announces road work for this week:

Carbon County

• Kidder Township: Between Exit 274 (Route 534) and Exit 284 (Route 115), daytime lane restrictions on I-80 east or west 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Wednesday.

Monroe County

• Ross and Hamilton townships: Old Route 115, between Cherry Valley Road and Hamilton South Road, bridge repair, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

• Polk Township, Route 534, between Jonas Road and Meriwill Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday.

• Ross Township, Mount Eaton Road, between Old Route 115 and Kunkletown Road, pothole patching, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Schuylkill County

• Mahanoy and West Mahanoy townships, Morea Road, between Frackville and Route 54, milling and paving, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 6 to 10.
